Revere is Evolving
The Revere collaboration has now concluded.
After five years of pioneering landscape-scale nature finance projects across the UK’s National Parks, the Revere collaboration has now concluded.
Since 2021, Revere brought together the National Parks and Palladium to develop new approaches to nature finance, demonstrating how private investment can support high-integrity nature restoration while building capability, partnerships and market confidence across the National Parks family.
Working with individual National Parks, Revere fully developed and funded the Cairngorms Peatland Restoration Project, enabled one of the UK’s largest ever upfront privately financed nature carbon deals with L&G’s investment in 500 hectares of South Downs National Park woodland and carbon credits and led development of the Windermere Water Quality Project.
Alongside project development, Revere helped shape the emerging UK nature finance sector through pilot projects, knowledge sharing, industry engagement and practical financial solutions.
The collaboration incubated new project models, partnerships and approaches at a time when UK nature markets were still emerging. It shared practical learning through reports, events and industry engagement, including the successful UK Nature Carbon, Made Clear knowledge-sharing series and roundtable.
As markets have matured, and as National Parks’ own capability has grown, it is a natural progression for this work to evolve into a broader National Parks-led programme, led by National Parks Partnerships.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Revere journey.
