South Downs Woodland Project now open

The Revere team is proud to announce that the South Downs Woodland Project is now open for investment, woodland carbon credit purchase or advance market commitment to purchase carbon credits.

Investment will unlock Phase One of the project, removing 215,650+ tonnes of CO₂ through ‘right tree, right place’ tree planting at scale. It’s designed to connect existing isolated blocks of woodland and create thriving habitat corridors benefiting iconic local species such as the the barbastelle bat and our native bluebell.

Designed by the Revere team, together with the South Downs National Park Authority and local farmers and landowners, the South Downs Woodland Project offers farmers the opportunity to convert lower grade agricultural land into woodland and generate an additional source of income, whilst maintaining productive farming practices.

The project will enhance the landscape by gradually creating new broadleaf woodland habitat at scale, improving soil health and mitigating flood and drought risks in the face of growing extreme weather conditions.
